Prive Stone Residential Spa
Location:
We are currently serving the greater Bay Area from Marin to San Jose, more areas are slated for service in the coming months. Please feel free to call and ask about area’s of service if in doubt.
Space Requirements:
In most instances, a space approx 4×4 is workable. We are happy to assist in light furniture moving, such as tables or chairs to facilitate a workable area. If you are creating space for a couples service or spa party event, we are happy to review the space and determine if it is adequate. In most cases we can make some small changes to accommodate our tables, and massage chairs. In some cases, it might be better served to locate a venue that will allow space for your guests. There are a multitude of options, please contact our specialist to discuss your particular needs.
Before our arrival:
In an effort to keep our therapists flowing smoothly throughout there schedule, we ask that you finish any communication via phone or internet and begin to change gears moving towards relaxation. Please feel free to shower and slip into a robe if you have one. Otherwise we will provide you with a robe and ask that you do so upon our arrival.
Our arrival:
Once we have arrived, we will set up in the area best suited for the size of our equipment. Set up for most services takes only a few minutes. If you have not already done so, we will ask that you slip into a robe, and fill out a brief consultation form. Please turn down, or turn off your cell phone and land lines. Due to our schedule restrictions we will not be able to make up time clients spend wrapping up phone calls and other communication. Please keep your heat turned down as low as possible, in the event of warm weather we ask that you open a nearby window in order for the therapist to do her/his best work, a comfortable temperature ensures this. The table will be warmed, and blanketed unless otherwise asked not to. Please indicate to therapist any special focus or concerns on the consultation form, therapist will then go over the information with you to be sure that you are being provided the best service possible. If during any service you are not comfortable about something please feel free to speak up. We are there to assist you and provide you with the very best service possible. This includes, feeling cold or hot, too much or not enough pressure, aversion to the smell or feel of any product we may be using.
Payment:
Cash or Checks are appreciated upon arrival. Please make out checks to Prive Stone. To pay by cc# please do so online when making your appointment or before our arrival. Please provide technician with confirmation number.
Tips:
Tips are always appreciated by our therapists. If you enjoyed your service a percentage of 15 to 20 is appropriate. 20% will automatically be added to all spa events of 3 or more persons.
After our departure:
If at all possible, please plan to relax for at least one hour after your service to fully appreciate the benefits of your service. We know everyone is busy, but a nap of any length will always add to your benefit. Please drink a bit more water than you would normally. Failure to do so may result in the client feeling nauseated.
Clients requesting Deep tissue services may feel sore the day after. This is to be expected and is considered to be normal. Please inform your therapist if at any time during your massage you feel that the pressure to be too deep, please feel free to speak and let your concerns be known.

All products that are used in our services are chosen for qualities that are important to Prive Stone. When possible we use organic fair trade, green- non solvent based products including in the use of cleaning our linens, tools and implements. Our employees and technicians are chosen for their integrity, skill and experience. All of our therapists have had thorough background checks as well as verification of skill, certificates, license and insurance.
